2. Types of Data Collected and Purposes

A. Access to “Live & Results” Area (Voluntarily Provided Data)

To access exclusive tournament content (live streaming, real-time results, schedules), registration via a specific form is required.

• Data processed: Email address.
• Service Purpose (Mandatory): To allow technical access to the platform, ensure system security, and send essential tournament communications (e.g., schedule changes). Legal basis: Performance of a contract/service requested by the user.
• Marketing Purpose (Optional): To send newsletters, photos, videos, and promotions. Legal basis: Explicit consent.

B. Navigation and Security Data

Computer systems automatically acquire certain data (e.g., IP address, browser type, ISP, time of visit) for statistical and security purposes, to prevent abuse or attacks on the site.

C. Cookies, Analytics & Google Consent Mode

This site uses technical cookies (necessary) and profiling/statistical cookies (third-party). We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) with Google Consent Mode v2 enabled.

• Technical Cookies: We use a proprietary session cookie (e.g., eagle_cup_live_access) to remember your access to the reserved area and avoid repeated login requests.
• Google Analytics 4: We collect anonymized statistical data on site usage. Thanks to Consent Mode, Google Analytics adapts its behavior based on the consent expressed by the user via the cookie banner:
  • If the user DENIES consent: GA4 operates in a limited mode without saving tracking cookies.
  • If the user GRANTS consent: Cookies are activated for in-depth analysis.

3. Data Sharing (Recipients)

Personal data will not be disseminated publicly but may be communicated to:

1. Technical Service Providers: Hosting providers, email marketing platforms (Data Processors).
2. Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC: For Analytics features. Data transfer to the USA is based on the Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.
3. Consorzio Vero Volley (Partner): Only if the user has checked the specific optional consent box “Partner Marketing”, the email will be shared with Consorzio Vero Volley for their promotional purposes.

4. Data Retention

• Live Access Data: Retained for the duration of the tournament and for the following 6 months for administrative purposes, unless requested otherwise.
• Marketing Data: Retained until consent is revoked (unsubscribe) or for a maximum of 24 months from the last interaction.
• Analytics Data: User-level and event-level data in GA4 are retained for 14 months.

5. Rights of the Data Subject

Users may exercise their rights under the GDPR (Arts. 15-22) and FADP at any time, including:

• Access, rectification, or erasure of data (“Right to be forgotten”).
• Restriction of processing or objection to processing.
• Data portability.
• Withdrawal of consent (via link in emails or by contacting the Controller).
